In the 3rd minute, Verdolaga's Prospero Valentine ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silverio Laurendi. Silverio Laurendi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Silverio Laurendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Chano's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Victoriano Txanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 16 minutes, Dionisio Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esrella Roja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Cefero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Esrella Roja FC's Dionisio Cefero got a free kick in the 18th minute. Dionisio Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siro Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Urtungo in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Esrella Roja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Teodoro Rico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silverio Laurendi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Heriberto in the 32nd minute of play forced Verdolaga's goalkeeper Siro Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Verdolaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Urbes to maneuver through the defense. Martin Castulo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Silverio Laurendi was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Nicolas Chano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolas Chano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 41st minute Victorino Kimetz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Fabricio Beliran charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Beliran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Esrella Roja FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fabricio Beliran hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Castulo to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Esrella Roja FC's Ivan Heriberto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Verdolaga's Siro Garaona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Verdolaga from getting a goal against them. Horacio Urtungo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Siro Garaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esrella Roja FC. 75 minutes into the match, Verdolaga's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Cefero came free, but Siro Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Heriberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Siro Garaona made a huge save. Ivan Heriberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Siro Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Verdolaga could leave the field as winners, despite Esrella Roja FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
