When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Feliberto Weather sped through C.A. Boca Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo Maria. Maximiliano Bela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Senin in the 18th minute of play. Baltasar Odilon took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Bela. Maximiliano Bela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Honorio Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Urritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gervasio Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Weather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A collision led to Mithatha Bucks FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gervasio Nerio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Torres in the 55th minute of play forced Mithatha Bucks FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Senins short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Maximiliano Bela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santos Endura hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Weather in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Maria saved C.A. Boca Juniors from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Torres in the 69th minute of play forced Mithatha Bucks FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Marcelo Maria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Honorio Urritz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Maria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Feliberto Weather blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Maria having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Beat in the 80th minute of play forced C.A. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Marcelo Maria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Jonas Calvino in the 84th minute really tested Maximiliano Bela's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
