Boca Juniors booed when San Martín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Jago didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in San Martín FC's zone, Pascual Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Loren came out of the goal and Pascual Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 56th minute, Natalio Senin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emanuel Loren. The goal made the score 0-1. Natalio Senin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Loren when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
