After 61 played minutes Chimbas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Sasoin. After 62nd play minutes Santo Rufo shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Maximo Gartxot and just under the crossbar into goal. 65 minutes into the game, Santo Rufo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Maximo Gartxot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Rufo in the 69th minute of play forced Chimbas AFC's goalkeeper Maximo Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Bernardino Berdoi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Chimbas AFC's Maximo Gartxot. Bermúdez's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
