With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Franco in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Peruanton saved Ameghino FC from getting behind. After 19 minutes, Gonzalo Henrico made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rancagua FC's Angelo Gartxot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Clemencin charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Clemencin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 26 minutes into the game, one of Rancagua FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gonzalo Henrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Gartxot having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingos Illart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Ameghino FC's Flavio Koldobika made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Gartxot was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Rafael Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Flavio Koldobika left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ameghino FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Rancagua FC's Angelo Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Henrico in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Illart in the 86th minute of play forced Ameghino FC's goalkeeper Sergio Peruanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ameghino FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
