Bermúdez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Makallé the free kick. A collision led to Bermúdez getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alberto Ekain hit a great ball. Federico Chepe charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Chepe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bermúdez's Bernardino Berdoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Jerano. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Fabian Jerano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Rufo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Delmar Rosalio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bermúdez's Jeremias Lluques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santo Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fabian Jerano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bermúdez booed when Makallé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 51 minutes into the game, one of Makallé:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for Bermúdez. Celso Havier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabian Jerano. 2-0. In the 60th minute, Santo Rufo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Jerano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Teo Quintana struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jeremias Lluques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Makallé. Delmar Rosalio scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Lluques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Berdoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Jerano was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. When Adrian Maties fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Makallé's protests and gave Adrian Maties a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Makallé's Adrian Maties got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Makallé's goalkeeper Fabian Jerano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santo Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Jerano having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Bermúdez players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
