They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Emesto was the one to do the kick off. Isidoro Luzaide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Mantzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Amado Emesto had several of the Astica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Cirilo Fernandes as he didn't even see the shot coming.
