Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5393, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Domingos Illart got the match started through his kick off. Angelo Gartxot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Quintana's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Delmar Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Makallé's Delmar Rosalio got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Teo Quintana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Gartxot. Rancagua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Quintana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Illart in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Jerano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Makallé's goalkeeper Fabian Jerano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Franco. Teo Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Angelo Gartxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Rancagua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Rosalio came free, but Angelo Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Delmar Rosalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makallé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Rosalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Delmar Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rancagua FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Makallé were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Quintana to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingos Illart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Teo Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Rosalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Gartxot having to interfere. When Delmar Rosalio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Makallé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Rosalio couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Adrian Maties got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes Rancagua FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Javiero. Angelo Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Quintana in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Rosalio got free with Angelo Gartxot in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Delmar Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Gartxot having to interfere.
