Rafael Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bruno Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafael Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Angelo Gartxot made a huge save. Timoteo Javiero charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Javiero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rancagua FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Timoteo Javiero hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Urbano Enekoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Gartxot was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 25th minute of the match Pedro Maidana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Gurutz skillfully saved the ball. Dolores's Bruno Gurutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Franco in the 26th minute of play. Timoteo Javiero struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Bruno Gurutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancagua FC. After 30 played minutes, Dolores's Marcelino Luken shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angelo Gartxot came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dolores reached it. Bruno Gurutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Franco in the 36th minute of play. Isidro Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Rafael Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bruno Gurutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Dolores's Urbano Enekoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Gartxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Domingos Illart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Franco in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Illart made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Dolores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Mancio to maneuver through the defense. Dolores's Urbano Enekoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Enekoitz in the 61st minute of play forced Rancagua FC's goalkeeper Angelo Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Rancagua FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dolores:s goal. Rafael Franco took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Gurutz. Bruno Gurutz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 71 minutes into the match, Rancagua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Marques came free, but Angelo Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Javiero struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bruno Gurutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancagua FC. Rafael Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Gurutz having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Rancagua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Marques came free, but Angelo Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Urbano Enekoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Gartxot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Cipriano Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Gartxot. Rancagua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rancagua FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dolores.
