The supporters of Boca juniors booed when Stegmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Boca juniors's Ruperto Miliano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Stegmann had won after a very even match.
