After a rather tough play, Real Bañiles's Clemente Vigil got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Carlos Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ballester FC booed when Real Bañiles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Eyague didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ballester FC's Enrique Bastian got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 30 played minutes Ballester FC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Mundo. After a rather tough play, Real Bañiles's Roberto Etxahun got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ballester FC's Honorio Columbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ballester FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Batista got free with Honorio Columbo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Real Bañiles booed when Ballester FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Sustrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Real Bañiles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ballester FC were winning 0-1.

A collision led to Real Bañiles getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gustavo Eyague hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Ballester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Etxahun came free, but Honorio Columbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustacio Bazil hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Luisito Iago struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Remigio Sandalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballester FC. After 66 played minutes Real Bañiles got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Bazil. After a defensive mix-up in Real Bañiles's zone, Carlos Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Sandalio came out of the goal and Carlos Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Cordario received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remigio Sandalio came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Cordario slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 73rd minute. Remigio Sandalio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Cordario went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Hermengildo Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Columbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Batista in the 89th minute of the match. Severo Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Columbo having to interfere. Ballester FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
