In the 12th minute, Leandro Mikeldi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eustaquio Larpe. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 14th minute, Fermin Francho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Miliano, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eustaquio Larpe acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Evaristo Tauro. Leandro Mikeldi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Eustaquio Larpe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Leandro Mikeldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Boca juniors getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ulises Vidal hit a great ball. Eustaquio Larpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Mikeldi's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A hard shot 36 in the game by Leandro Mikeldi from a close distance when the talented Eustaquio Larpe managed to make a qualified save. AC Martinez's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the match, AC Martinez's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Mikeldi came free, but Eustaquio Larpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Vidal got free with Eustaquio Larpe in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boca juniors's Evaristo Tauro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eustaquio Larpe but with some difficulty. Leandro Mikeldi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustaquio Larpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Mikeldi to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in AC Martinez's zone, Leandro Mikeldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Larpe came out of the goal and Leandro Mikeldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benicio Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Leandro Mikeldi sped through AC Martinez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eustaquio Larpe. In the 63rd minute, Leandro Mikeldi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to AC Martinez getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Horacio Veronica hit a great ball. Eustaquio Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Miliano in the 67th minute of the match. Leandro Mikeldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Leandro Mikeldi put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eustaquio Larpe. Eustaquio Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AC Martinez's Horacio Veronica got a free kick in the 79th minute. Eustaquio Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Miliano, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Leandro Mikeldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustaquio Larpe was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Evaristo Tauro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eustaquio Larpe. AC Martinez's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Antonio Salvadore took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Amador Etor to make any attempt to save it. Boca juniors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
