When Lujan FC's Prudencio Jobo, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lujan FC. Clodoveo Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Etxatxu having to interfere. Prudencio Jobo succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Prudencio Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lujan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Jobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Brun in the 27th minute of play forced Lujan FC's goalkeeper Flavio Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Leandro Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Peñarol's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Urtzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Lujan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Brun came free, but Flavio Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Leandro Brun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Urtzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Brun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Denis Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lujan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Francesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Lujan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Brun came free, but Flavio Urtzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Jobo in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Etxatxu saved Club Atletico Peñarol from getting behind. In the 71st minute Clodoveo Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Tolino got free with Flavio Urtzi in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Humberto Etxatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Jobo in the 80th minute of play. Lujan FC's Flavio Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Brun in the 83rd minute of play. Jonatan Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Flavio Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Brun in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Urtzi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 89 minutes into the game, Jonatan Tolino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Flavio Urtzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Humberto Etxatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Club Atletico Peñarol's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
