Spectators: 6965 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Prudencio Jobo started the match with the kick off. Rolando Cordeara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Flavio Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Belmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Jobo in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Prudencio Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lujan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Jobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Bazkoare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Urtzi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lujan FC's Herminio Lleir got a free kick in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Pedro Eguerdi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Flavio Urtzi. Flavio Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Bazkoare kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Urtzi. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Pedro Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Urtzi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lujan FC's zone, Pedro Eguerdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Urtzi came out of the goal and Pedro Eguerdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hipolito Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Ugutz during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Lujan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Eguerdi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Flavio Urtzi made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hipolito Bazkoare to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lujan FC's Clodoveo Jerrold slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Epifanio Belmiro. That made the score 2-1 after 51 minutes of play. Bluestones's Pedro Eguerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lujan FC's goalkeeper Flavio Urtzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hipolito Bazkoare might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Urtzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hipolito Bazkoare ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Eguerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Pedro Eguerdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bluestones's zone, Prudencio Jobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Belmiro came out of the goal and Prudencio Jobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Eguerdi in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Erubiel Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Jobo in the 91st minute of play forced Bluestones's goalkeeper Epifanio Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Lleir's late challenge caught a Bluestones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Lleir helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Lujan FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Lleir. There was no doubt that Bluestones were the better team. Bluestones's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
