In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSyD Tres de Azúcar's goalkeeper Fulgencio Tonio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calabacercio FC's Paulo Ezkerra was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Paulo Ezkerra made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 28thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fulgencio Tonio would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, CSyD Tres de Azúcar's goalkeeper Fulgencio Tonio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Ezkerra. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by CSyD Tres de Azúcar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Heriberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Calabacercio FC's players had a chance to rest. Venancio Aimar thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Fulgencio Tonio, a very annoying self made goal in the 32nd minute which led to 4-0. Paulo Ezkerra was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 37th minute, Adan Paz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, CSyD Tres de Azúcar's Jonathan Sanduru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Carlomagno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in CSyD Tres de Azúcar's zone, Paulo Ezkerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Tonio came out of the goal and Paulo Ezkerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calabacercio FC's Paulo Ezkerra got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After 52 minutes of play, Calabacercio FC's Augusto Pietro made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulgencio Tonio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Calabacercio FC's Paulo Ezkerra in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CSyD Tres de Azúcar's goalie prevented a goal. Fulgencio Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Ezkerra in the 59th minute of play. In the 66th minute Paulo Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Tonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Calabacercio FC's Paulo Ezkerra in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Paulo Ezkerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Tonio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulo Ezkerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Tonio was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Jonathan Sanduru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Oscar Oliverio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Tonio skillfully saved the ball. In the 96th match minute, CSyD Tres de Azúcar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Paz to maneuver through the defense. When Calabacercio FC's Paulo Ezkerra in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CSyD Tres de Azúcar's goalie prevented a goal. Calabacercio FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
