The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hipolito Bazkoare was the one to do the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Igor Benet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Belmiro. Bluestones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Benet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jonatan Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Belmiro having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Jonatan Tolino notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bluestones's Epifanio Belmiro. Epifanio Belmiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonatan Tolino struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Epifanio Belmiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Peñarol. Jonatan Tolino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Belmiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. When Jonatan Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Club Atletico Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Tolino couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Leandro Brun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jonatan Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Club Atletico Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Tolino couldn't finish the play. Pablo Orkatz charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Orkatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bluestones booed when Club Atletico Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jonatan Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Club Atletico Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Tolino couldn't finish the play. Club Atletico Peñarol's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
