Rodolfo Favila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Belmiro having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Americo Savier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Bluestones's Hipolito Bazkoare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roque Adrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Epifanio Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Marcones in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Tobias Clis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Epifanio Belmiro skillfully saved the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Bazkoare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rodolfo Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot. San FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Favila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Belmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 80th minute, Amancio Marcones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bluestones's zone, Isaac Urtats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Belmiro came out of the goal and Isaac Urtats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Epifanio Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bluestones's zone, Amancio Marcones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Belmiro came out of the goal and Amancio Marcones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Many of San FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. San FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Bluestones were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
