Pablo Cebrian's late challenge caught a Lujan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Cebrian helped the player get up and apologised. Clodoveo Jerrold hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A hard shot 24 in the game by Saverio Bonadona from a close distance when the talented Flavio Urtzi managed to make a qualified save. Lujan FC's players were relieved. If Saverio Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Jobo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Tobias Tximitx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pallavicini AFC and the Lujan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Pallavicini AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Tximitx. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Tobias Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pallavicini AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Tximitx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Urtzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Saverio Bonadona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Urtzi. Lujan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Bonadona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Bonadona in the 68th minute of play forced Lujan FC's goalkeeper Flavio Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Faron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Jobo in the 95th minute of play. In the 99th minute, Mauricio Ugutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Orlandus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 100th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Urtzi. Lujan FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lujan FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
