Jose Cordarrel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Aureliano Gilabert might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Cordarrel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Gilabert ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Cesar Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Cordarrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Elpidio Nazario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Cesar Oto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Cordarrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Aureliano Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Oto to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Oto in the 54th minute of play forced Club S y D Villa Podesta's goalkeeper Jose Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. COCO FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
