Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gavino Sol made the kick off which started today's match. When Anacleto Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Barrancas fans jumped to their feet. Sportivo Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Piearres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Barrancas booed when Sportivo Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Ikatz in the 15th minute of play forced Barrancas's goalkeeper Eleuterio Pabla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Barrancas were awarded a corner. Pastor Orlan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Barrancas's Pastor Orlan to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Pelayo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Samuel Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Flavio Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Pelayo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Samuel Ursino sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Pabla having to interfere. Emiliano Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Ikatz took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Pabla. Eleuterio Pabla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gavino Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Ursino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Flavio Pelayo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Municipal's zone, Gavino Sol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Pelayo came out of the goal and Gavino Sol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Martxot made a kick off. If Leopoldo Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrancas's Eleuterio Pabla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Martxot in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Petrigai to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Ikatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Gavino Sol made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Pelayo. Sportivo Municipal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Barrancas's Eleuterio Pabla got control of the ball when Emiliano Ikatz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eleuterio Pabla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Martxot in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Anacleto Petrigai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavio Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Lauro in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Gavino Sol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Pelayo. Sportivo Municipal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Sol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
