The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Gacela FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Filiberto Merexildo hit a great ball. Celedonio Chorche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Palben having to interfere. If Celedonio Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Maureo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Orlanda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Leonardo Erramu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gacela FC's Jose Palben was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mateo Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Leonardo Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Base FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Erramu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celedonio Chorche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonardo Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leonardo Erramu came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the La Base FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Erramu couldn't finish the play. Jose Palben came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by La Base FC's Celedonio Chorche. But to his dismay, Celedonio Chorche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Gacela FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Base FC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Edelmiro Florinio made the kick off in the second half. If Leonardo Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Palben having to interfere. Federico Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jose Palben made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Celedonio Chorche sent off a good shot on target. When Gacela FC's Edelmiro Florinio in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Base FC's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Gacela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Erramu came free, but Jose Palben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gacela FC's Mateo Breogan got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Mateo Breogan off the ground. Mateo Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Chorche got free with Jose Palben in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gacela FC's Jose Palben proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Gacela FC from getting a goal against them. Fabio Quirze hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Florinio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gacela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Base FC the free kick. A collision led to Gacela FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Edelmiro Florinio hit a great ball. Leonardo Erramu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 played minutes La Base FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Chorche. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Maureo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Orlanda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded La Base FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gacela FC.
