Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Martxot started the match with the kick off. Sportivo Municipal's Flavio Pelayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Municipal from getting a goal against them. Celedonio Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Pelayo having to interfere. The nice shot from Celedonio Chorche in the 20thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Flavio Pelayo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. La Base FC's Adrian Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Piearres in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Sportivo Municipal booed when La Base FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Chorche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Flavio Pelayo made a huge save. If Leonardo Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in La Base FC's zone, Joel Martxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Orlanda came out of the goal and Joel Martxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adrian Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Celedonio Chorche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Pelayo. Sportivo Municipal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Chorche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Erramu to make the kick off. La Base FC's Adrian Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Martxot in the 55th minute of play. Flavio Pelayo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by La Base FC's Celedonio Chorche. But to his dismay, Celedonio Chorche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Leonardo Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sebastian Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Erramu in the 69th minute of play. Emiliano Ikatz in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adrian Orlanda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Sportivo Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 89th play minute Emiliano Ikatz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adrian Orlanda. 2-2. Joel Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
