If Nestor Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Palben came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Dios Querido's Eduardo Abeitia. But to his dismay, Eduardo Abeitia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Dios Querido's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Florinio came free, but Ulises Odol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Gacela FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Breogan. After a rather tough play, Dios Querido's Raimundo Chano got a free kick in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Edelmiro Florinio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulises Odol. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dios Querido's goalkeeper Ulises Odol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulises Odol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Pascual Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Odol having to interfere. The long shot by Hipolito Loiola in the 32nd minute really tested Ulises Odol's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Eduardo Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Abeitia was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Nestor Lander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dios Querido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Lander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulises Odol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Florinio in the 63rd minute of play. Nestor Lander succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 73rd playminute. Dios Querido's Ulises Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Florinio in the 77th minute of play. Edelmiro Florinio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Odol having to make a save. Ulises Odol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Florinio in the 83rd minute of the match. With his leg Jose Palben managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Dios Querido's Nestor Lander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Gacela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dios Querido's performance. The match ended with a win for Dios Querido.
