Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eloy Tabb started the match with the kick off. Hilario Remigio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Raimundo Luzaide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Ibañez came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Grünbein FC's Andres Banegas. But to his dismay, Andres Banegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Raimundo Luzaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Christian Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grünbein FC's Miguel Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, C.A.Hudson City's goalkeeper Bernabe Ibañez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Banegas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Banegas got free with Bernabe Ibañez in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the game, Angel Brion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grünbein FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Hudson City the free kick. In the 29th minute, Angel Brion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grünbein FC's Christian Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Luzaide in the 31st minute of play. Raimundo Luzaide scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Montes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 36 minutes, Raimundo Luzaide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Hudson City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Luzaide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Tipi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Grünbein FC's Pastor Chumo tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Andres Banegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Ibañez having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Bermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Hudson City's goalkeeper Bernabe Ibañez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grünbein FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Chumo in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Pastor Chumo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernabe Ibañez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Grünbein FC's zone, Eloy Tabb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Montes came out of the goal and Eloy Tabb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Ibañez having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, C.A.Hudson City's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Banegas came free, but Bernabe Ibañez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes, Eloy Tabb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Hudson City and the Grünbein FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grünbein FC booed when C.A.Hudson City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Tabb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Cresconio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Andres Banegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Ibañez having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Grünbein FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Tabb came free, but Christian Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Andres Banegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Ibañez. C.A.Hudson City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Banegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Miguel Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C.A.Hudson City's Casimiro Nisio suffered a concussion in the 99th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. If Miguel Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grünbein FC fully deserved thier win.
