In the 11th minute, Marcelo Lartaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Palben having to interfere. 24 minutes in the game, Pascual Maureo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Flavio Pelayo having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Gacela FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Loiola. It was beautiful to see Sportivo Municipal's Eugenio Bernebe in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 39 minutes into the match, Gacela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Martxot came free, but Jose Palben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Sportivo Municipal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pascual Maureo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Martxot to strike the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Florinio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes, Gacela FC's Ulises Urtsin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Pelayo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gacela FC reached it. Edelmiro Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Pascual Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gacela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Maureo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edelmiro Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Flavio Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Palben took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Martxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Florinio's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Joel Martxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sportivo Municipal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gacela FC.
