The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10thth minute of the game Miguel Bermudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torres AFC's Guillermo Fertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Min's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Montes was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Rodolfo Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eustacio Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Min in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Montes saved Grünbein FC from getting behind. After 37 played minutes Torres AFC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Tercero. The supporters of Torres AFC booed when Grünbein FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Eustacio Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grünbein FC's Christian Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Min in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Bermudo to make the kick off. A collision led to Grünbein FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Andres Banegas hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Martin Santos sped through Grünbein FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Montes. Martin Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Montes having to make a save. In the 66th minute Miguel Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Felipillo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Andres Banegas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grünbein FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Rolando Hotz's late challenge caught a Grünbein FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Hotz helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Grünbein FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Brion.
