Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Independiente Rey's Rolando Arnas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Rolando Arnas came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Independiente Rey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Arnas couldn't finish the play. Cirilo Hitzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Gonzo in the 9th minute of play. Rolando Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cirilo Hitzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Independiente Rey's Eriberto Gonzo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cirilo Hitzeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Independiente Rey's Rolando Arnas in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Capillas's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Independiente Rey booed when Capillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Endira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, Independiente Rey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Darien to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Quinten kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Bernardo Darien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente Rey and the Capillas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zacarias Felo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Elija having to make a save. If Paolo Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48thth minute of the game Eriberto Gonzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capillas's Cirilo Hitzeder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

54 minutes into the match, Capillas's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Arnas came free, but Cirilo Hitzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Isaac Elija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Paolo Ritchie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capillas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cirilo Hitzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Hitzeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Arnas's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Rolando Arnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Hitzeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Eriberto Gonzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente Rey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Rolando Arnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaac Elija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Sandalio in the 97th minute of the match. Rolando Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Cirilo Hitzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Independiente Rey supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Independiente Rey would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
