Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Cuarto got the match started through his kick off. When Eriberto Gonzo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Independiente Rey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Gonzo couldn't finish the play. If Rolando Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Ortle notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Independiente Rey's Isaac Elija. Isaac Elija was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 23 played minutes Conlara got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Calvino. After 33 minutes, Filomeno Ourente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conlara and the Independiente Rey players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Conlara got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Ourente. 37 minutes into the match, Conlara's Rodrigo Ortle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Elija narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Independiente Rey booed when Conlara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Arnas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Nesor having to make a save. A collision led to Conlara getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pastor Cordaro hit a great ball. Eriberto Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Nesor having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Rodrigo Ortle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Isaac Elija, passed just outside the right post. After 47 played minutes Independiente Rey got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Quinten. 47 minutes into the match, Conlara's Pascual Orlanda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Arnas made a kick off. If Rodrigo Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Erdiano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Conlara's Joel Cuarto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Elija narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Nesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente Rey. Independiente Rey's Rolando Arnas got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Independiente Rey's Eriberto Gonzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Nesor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gabriel Nesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Joel Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Independiente Rey's Prospero Frasquito tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rolando Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gabriel Nesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Arnas in the 86th minute of play. Independiente Rey's Isaac Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Ortle in the 89th minute of play. Gabriel Nesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Arnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With his leg Gabriel Nesor managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Independiente Rey's Eriberto Gonzo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd minute, Eriberto Gonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Nesor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Independiente Rey were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Conlara to leave the ground with a draw.
