Jorge Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonzalo Porfiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaac Elija. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Daniel Quinten's late challenge caught a Mizzle X's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Quinten helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mizzle X booed when Independiente Rey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Jorrin, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Isaac Elija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Bernabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Jorge Bernabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvestre Ugutz got free with Isaac Elija in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mizzle X's Adriana Crescencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Arnas in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Guaberto Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Jorrin came free in the 27th minute and tried to tip the ball over Isaac Elija, but to the joy of Independiente Rey's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Independiente Rey's Isaac Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Bernabel in the 28th minute of play. When Jorge Bernabel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Mizzle X fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Bernabel couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Independiente Rey's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Bernabel came free, but Isaac Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Ugutz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Elija having to make a save. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Bernabel was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Mizzle X's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Arnas came free, but Adriana Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriana Crescencio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. When Rolando Arnas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Independiente Rey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Arnas couldn't finish the play. In the 69th match minute, Mizzle X was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Mattin to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Rolando Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriana Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rolando Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Bernabel struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Isaac Elija didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mizzle X. Isaac Elija stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Bernabel's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mizzle X's zone, Rolando Arnas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriana Crescencio came out of the goal and Rolando Arnas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Tomás Tajo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Mizzle X:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Independiente Rey:s goal. The referee gave Independiente Rey a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Prospero Frasquito, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mizzle X's Adriana Crescencio. 1-2. In the 88thth minute of the game Rolando Arnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mizzle X's Adriana Crescencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Silvestre Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mizzle X's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Ugutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rolando Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Independiente Rey's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
