When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Escobar made a kick off. Primitivo Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jesus Xabier ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the El Moncho deja el juego defense, Ovidio Sotero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Belasko. The El Moncho deja el juego fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Belasko should have stopped the shot.
