Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arturo Eutor kicked off to start the match. Maximiliano Padro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Victoro in the 6th minute. Maximiliano Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Gomesano in the 10th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Federico Victoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paraná AFC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Padro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Xeneizes's zone, Siro Jerano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Pueblo came out of the goal and Siro Jerano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Hector Ioritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Xeneizes's Ildefonso Stanislao got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Elvio Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xeneizes's Nereo Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Dunixi in the 30th minute of play. Maximiliano Padro made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Federico Victoro sent off a good shot on target. Nereo Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Jerano in the 41st minute of play. If Arturo Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Federico Victoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Dunixi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xeneizes's Nereo Pueblo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Xeneizes from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Paraná AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Eutor came free, but Maximiliano Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paraná AFC's Victorio Berasko got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Jerano got free with Nereo Pueblo in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee gave Xeneizes a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basilio Afonso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paraná AFC's Maximiliano Padro. 1-0. 69 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Stanislao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximiliano Padro. Paraná AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Stanislao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 72nd minute Arturo Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Eutor charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Eutor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elvio Dunixi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xeneizes's Nereo Pueblo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Xeneizes from getting a goal against them. After having played for 97 minutes, Leonides Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xeneizes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Gomesano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Xeneizes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Paraná AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
