Teofilo Francis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st match minute, Salcedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Neron to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Lázaro Garci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelino Basualdo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Salcedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Weterio came free, but Marcelino Basualdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Weterio took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Basualdo. Marcelino Basualdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Raimundo Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. The supporters of Salcedo FC booed when Bollywood F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Raimundo Oriche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Basualdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 41stth minute of the game Hector Weterio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salcedo FC's Marcelino Basualdo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes, Norberto Froila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salcedo FC and the Bollywood F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hector Weterio made the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Basualdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Intxixu in the 52nd minute of the match.
