With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Francis in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Cresitobalo saved Capla from getting behind. Ildefonso Cresitobalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Maiorga in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Capla's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Francis came free, but Ildefonso Cresitobalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Evangelista kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Segundo Neron charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Neron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Salcedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Neron to maneuver through the defense. Marcelino Basualdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Ferran in the 30th minute of the match. Anacleto Soter hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Teofilo Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cristo Ferran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Basualdo was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Segundo Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Marcelino Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Edgard Lluis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Capla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teofilo Presebal in the 47th minute. Capla's Teofilo Presebal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelino Basualdo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Ferran to make the kick off. Segundo Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Basualdo having to interfere. In the 60th minute Cristo Ferran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Basualdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Soter kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Salcedo FC's Marcelino Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Ferran in the 69th minute of play. Segundo Neron hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Anacleto Soter was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Salcedo FC's Anacleto Soter got a free kick in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Capla's Ildefonso Cresitobalo got control of the ball when Carlos Maiorga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teofilo Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Maiorga got free with Ildefonso Cresitobalo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
