Gualterio Gaizko might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Geleberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gualterio Gaizko ran back to his position shaking his head. Jimeno Cristofol struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Erasmo Geleberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Linyeras de Merlo. Gualterio Gaizko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Bollywood F.C.'s Gonzalo Libertad got a free kick in the 95th minute. Los Linyeras de Merlo played a much better game than Bollywood F.C. and deserved their victory. The Bollywood F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
