With his leg Maximiliano Padro managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Fontana's Fausto Acevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 14 minutes into the game, Fontana's Fausto Acevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Padro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Paraná AFC's Maximiliano Padro got control of the ball when Fausto Acevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fontana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Dunixi in the 32nd minute of play forced Fontana's goalkeeper Niceto Orlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Paraná AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Kinsen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Acevedo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Padro saved Paraná AFC from getting behind. After having played for 39 minutes, Lucas Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Abel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Dunixi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fontana's Fausto Acevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fausto Acevedo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Fontana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Acevedo couldn't finish the play. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Paraná AFC's Amadeo Kinsen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Niceto Orlin. 68 minutes into the match, Paraná AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Abel came free, but Maximiliano Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Acevedo in the 73rd minute of play forced Paraná AFC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Siro Jerano notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fontana's Niceto Orlin. Niceto Orlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 97 minutes of play, Fontana's Fausto Acevedo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Padro was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraná AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fontana.
