After 40 played minutes Arenales got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Ireno. After having played for 41 minutes, Herminio Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simogasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Edwardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everardo Silvanito didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Ruben Grabiel hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Grabiel to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Silvanito having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Simogasta's goalkeeper Everardo Silvanito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Simogasta got a freekick which was hit by Donato Terciero. After a defensive mix-up in Arenales's zone, Herminio Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Perez came out of the goal and Herminio Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arenales's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
