Baldomero Sotero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Amador Dolfos made a huge save. 5 minutes into the match, Cuervo locura's goalkeeper Amador Dolfos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Leobardo. In the 6th minute, Amador Luke reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amador Dolfos. The goal made the score 1-0. After 9 played minutes Cuervo locura got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Orain. 12 minutes into the match, Cuervo locura's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Fagildo came free, but Amador Dolfos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Dolfos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Fagildo got free with Amador Dolfos in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20thth minute of the game Victorio Illan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarmiento FC's Carlos Liberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Victorio Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento FC's zone, Guaberto Guzman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Liberto came out of the goal and Guaberto Guzman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cuervo locura's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Luis Fagildo scored to the left of an out of position Amador Dolfos, making the score, 2-0. Carlos Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Dolfos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Fabian Orain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervo locura's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Orain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Liberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cuervo locura!

The wind increased when Guaberto Guzman made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Liberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Osoitz in the 56th minute of play. Fabian Orain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Carlos Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Leobardo in the 63rd minute of play forced Cuervo locura's goalkeeper Amador Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cuervo locura defense, Luis Fagildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Dolfos. The Cuervo locura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Dolfos should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Cleto Larra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Luke in the 73rd minute of play forced Cuervo locura's goalkeeper Amador Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Dolfos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Luke in the 77th minute of play. Cuervo locura's Amador Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Fagildo in the 78th minute of play. Amador Dolfos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Leobardo in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento FC's Ramiro Gabrio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mauricio Osoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Osoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sarmiento FC booed when Cuervo locura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Osoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Eustacio Illart sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Dolfos skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute, Guaberto Guzman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Guaberto Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervo locura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Guzman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
