Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Genesis FC's Antonio Ciano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonio Ciano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Genesis FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Silban during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Simogasta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Genesis FC a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Atilano Amor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Simogasta's Everardo Silvanito. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Ciano in the 21st minute of play forced Simogasta's goalkeeper Everardo Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Simogasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. In the 29thth minute of the game Antonio Ciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simogasta's Everardo Silvanito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Ignacio Eleazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Grabiel in the 42nd minute of play forced Genesis FC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Simogasta booed when Genesis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Ciano in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Silvanito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Genesis FC's Antonio Ciano in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simogasta's goalie prevented a goal. Ignacio Eleazar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Grabiel to make the kick off. When Pedro Botello fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Genesis FC's protests and gave Pedro Botello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Genesis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Botello to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Atarratze was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Candido Checa. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Atarratze showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 73 minutes, Antonio Ciano made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Simogasta's Everardo Silvanito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Antonio Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Genesis FC's Antonio Ciano in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simogasta's goalie prevented a goal. Simogasta's Everardo Silvanito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Ciano in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Simogasta's zone, Ignacio Eleazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Silvanito came out of the goal and Ignacio Eleazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Genesis FC had played much better football throughout.
