Everardo Silvanito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Txartiko's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Victorio Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cuervo locura's Amador Dolfos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Cuervo locura from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Terciero during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cuervo locura booed when Simogasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Terciero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Everardo Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Txartiko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everardo Silvanito having to make a save. Amador Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ruben Grabiel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amador Dolfos came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruben Grabiel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Simogasta getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Teo Estebe hit a great ball. The supporters of Cuervo locura booed when Simogasta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Victorio Illan in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Grabiel in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amador Dolfos saved Cuervo locura from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Illan got free with Everardo Silvanito in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cuervo locura's Amador Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Terciero in the 56th minute of play. When Victorio Illan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cuervo locura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Illan couldn't finish the play. Cuervo locura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simogasta the free kick. Fabian Orain hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Simogasta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
