Herminio Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Galo having to interfere. Marcos Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Grabiel in the 7th minute of the match. Ruben Grabiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Galo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ruben Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simogasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Grabiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Galo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chelforó were furious when Amado Tauro was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 16 played minutes Chelforó got a freekick which was hit by Amado Tauro. After a defensive mix-up in Chelforó's zone, Ruben Grabiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Galo came out of the goal and Ruben Grabiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Estebe charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Estebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Everardo Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Simogasta's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Maraman came free, but Everardo Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Horacio Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelforó's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Urtzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Silvanito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th match minute, Chelforó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Demesio to maneuver through the defense. When Joel Betadur fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelforó's protests and gave Joel Betadur a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Candido Maraman made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Horacio Urtzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Tadzio's late challenge caught a Chelforó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Tadzio helped the player get up and apologised. Candido Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Chelforó's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Grabiel came free, but Marcos Galo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Simogasta's Ruben Grabiel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Galo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Maraman got free with Everardo Silvanito in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Simogasta's goalkeeper Everardo Silvanito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Maraman. After a defensive mix-up in Chelforó's zone, Herminio Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Galo came out of the goal and Herminio Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chelforó's Horacio Urtzi got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Herminio Edwardo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Simogasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Edwardo couldn't finish the play. Candido Maraman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Everardo Silvanito made a huge save. Everardo Silvanito made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Candido Maraman sent off a good shot on target. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
