Carlos Liberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Nichiango fc's goalkeeper Hector Lorien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Leobardo. Nichiango fc's Narciso Millano got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Amadeo Rameriz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nichiango fc and the Sarmiento FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeo Rameriz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Eustacio Illart sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Lorien skillfully saved the ball. Amadeo Rameriz, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Modesto Gil struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Modesto Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Liberto having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amador Luke to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Leobardo in the 57th minute of play forced Nichiango fc's goalkeeper Hector Lorien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Amador Luke made a precise shot to the right of Hector Lorien. Nichiango fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 60th minute Lisandro Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sarmiento FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Baldomero Sotero hit a great ball. Narciso Millano might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Liberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Millano ran back to his position shaking his head. Sarmiento FC's Amador Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amador Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Amador Luke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amadeo Rameriz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, one of Nichiango fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nichiango fc. Hector Lorien went to the wrong direction when Eustacio Illart was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Amador Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Nichiango fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Frascuelo to maneuver through the defense. Hector Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Luke in the 90th minute of the match. Luis Fagildo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Millano got free with Carlos Liberto in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Carlos Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
