Teofilo Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Etxepare in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paltoroa's zone, Cornelio Etxepare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Florian came out of the goal and Cornelio Etxepare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Wilfredo Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Estrella Zocks's Edgardo Tonio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramiro Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Edgardo Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Acosta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Tonio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Ramiro Elodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paltoroa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Elodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Tonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Paltoroa's David Mattin got a free kick in the 30th minute. Wilfredo Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. In the 43rd minute, Camilo Louis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teofilo Florian. The goal made the score 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Etxepare made a kick off. Ramiro Elodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Karmel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 57 minutes of play, C.A. Estrella Zocks's Camilo Louis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Florian was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 61 minutes, David Mattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paltoroa and the C.A. Estrella Zocks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Paltoroa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Mattin to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Rigoberto Castulo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofilo Florian skillfully saved the ball. Edgardo Tonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Camilo Louis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Tonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Cornelio Etxepare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Florian having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Cornelio Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Estrella Zocks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Etxepare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A. Estrella Zocks fully deserved thier win.
