With a left leg Constantino Ferrando saved Constitution Fútbol Club from getting behind. 11 minutes into the game, Alvear FC's Ubaldo Hartz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantino Ferrando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Norberto Firman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Constantino Ferrando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Ricardo Eleazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Constitution Fútbol Club's Ulises Montrel got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Alvear FC's Florentino Barros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Camilo Eguerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Constitution Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Eguerdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Serafino Telmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Firman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Constantino Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Ubaldo Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Everardo Ekialde made the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Ferrando having to interfere. If Ubaldo Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Hartz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Ferrando having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Constitution Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Firman came free, but Constantino Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ubaldo Hartz came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Alvear FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Hartz couldn't finish the play. In the 80th match minute, Alvear FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Firman to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Firman struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Constantino Ferrando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvear FC. After 85 played minutes Alvear FC got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Iacob. Camilo Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Dante having to interfere. Alvear FC's Ubaldo Hartz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
