Marco Gitano charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Gitano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Marco Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Bernabe Dodorol sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A.Damalu's Niceto Loiola didn't even have to move. After 10 played minutes Natalia Natalia FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Lluis. After 12 minutes of play, C.A.Damalu's Nicolas Txurio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Stanislao was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute Joel Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, one of Natalia Natalia FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sebastian Xabier walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 31st minute, Joel Malvin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicanor Stanislao, passed just outside the right post. Nicanor Stanislao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Malvin in the 35th minute of play. Niceto Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Natalia Natalia FC's Esteve Mazuste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Loiola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Malvin to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, C.A.Damalu's Niceto Loiola got control of the ball when Jeremias Hondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Esteve Mazuste came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Natalia Natalia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Mazuste couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the game, Jeremias Hondo lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Niceto Loiola. Jeremias Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Loiola having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Marco Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Esteve Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicolas Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Natalia Natalia FC's Prudencio Millan got a free kick in the 79th minute. Joel Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Stanislao having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Natalia Natalia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Txurio came free, but Nicanor Stanislao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Natalia Natalia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Natalia Natalia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
