Nicanor Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Martinez in the 12th minute of the match. Igor Eriz scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicanor Stanislao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Durazno FC's Freddy Gaizko got control of the ball when Jeremias Hondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Gaizko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Hondo in the 26th minute. Esteve Mazuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Federico Martinez struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nicanor Stanislao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno FC. After 43 minutes of play, Durazno FC's Igor Eriz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Stanislao was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Igor Eriz fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Durazno FC's protests and gave Igor Eriz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Durazno FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Igor Eriz hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Federico Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Prudencio Millan charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Millan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Durazno FC booed when Natalia Natalia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Hondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Gaizko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Francisco Cordarin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteve Mazuste in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Gaizko saved Durazno FC from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Esteve Mazuste had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Gaizko. Durazno FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteve Mazuste was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After having played for 84 minutes, Jeremias Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Natalia Natalia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Hondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Durazno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Galo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Millan in the 91st minute of play forced Durazno FC's goalkeeper Freddy Gaizko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Federico Martinez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicanor Stanislao. Natalia Natalia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Martinez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Durazno FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
