After a defensive mix-up in Chacras FC's zone, Mauricio Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Urbez came out of the goal and Mauricio Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Freddy Alfonso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Boca Juniors's Uriel Araoz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Boca Juniors's Mauricio Gomez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chacras FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Pes in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hermengildo Urbez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Uriel Pes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hermengildo Urbez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Uriel Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Gomesano to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Steven in the 52nd minute of play forced Chacras FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Urbez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Hermengildo Urbez managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Boca Juniors's Uriel Pes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mauricio Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Uriel Pes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Urbez was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Hermengildo Urbez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zacarias Ellande fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacras FC's protests and gave Zacarias Ellande a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Chacras FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Ellande.
