But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Orlondo couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Leguizamón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Umea in the 11th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Potrerillos got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Oxarra. Pascual Ciano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Godfredo Leguizamón. Potrerillos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Umea in the 15th minute of play forced Potrerillos's goalkeeper Godfredo Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Godfredo Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Potrerillos's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Papo came free, but Godfredo Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fausto Acevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Carolo Nardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Arnulfo Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Low Stoner Desert's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godfredo Leguizamón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnulfo Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Godfredo Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Acevedo was the one to do the kick off. Low Stoner Desert's Carolo Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Orlondo in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Siro Feo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Low Stoner Desert's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrerillos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Low Stoner Desert's Siro Feo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Potrerillos's Fausto Acevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Low Stoner Desert's Teodoro Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Carolo Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Nardo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Potrerillos's Fausto Acevedo. But to his dismay, Fausto Acevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Low Stoner Desert's Carolo Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Orlondo in the 79th minute of play. Fausto Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Nardo having to interfere. Godfredo Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Umea, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Potrerillos booed when Low Stoner Desert was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Orlondo might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Nardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Orlondo ran back to his position shaking his head. Freddy Orlondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Low Stoner Desert failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
