After a rather tough play, BomboneraFC's Amadeo Mercurio got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Enzo Lano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Hurko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Lopez in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Belarmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Gitano got free with Cornelio Belarmo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaberto Gitano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Belarmo. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. Cornelio Belarmo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cesar Lopez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 15 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Berdaitz during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BomboneraFC booed when .C.A.Independiente. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Berdaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Victoriano Gartxot came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the BomboneraFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Gartxot couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Lano in the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to BomboneraFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Victoriano Gartxot hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Francisco Artizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Hurko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Guaberto Gitano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Belarmo having to make a save. Cesar Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cornelio Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match BomboneraFC got a corner. .C.A.Independiente.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cesar Lopez ran over to the corner to take the kick. .C.A.Independiente.'s Cornelio Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save .C.A.Independiente. from getting a goal against them. Pascual Eate charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Eate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, one of .C.A.Independiente.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for .C.A.Independiente.. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Lano was the one to do the kick off. If Fidel Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Hurko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When BomboneraFC's Cesar Lopez in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye .C.A.Independiente.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 59 played minutes BomboneraFC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Mercurio. In the 62nd minute of the match, Francisco Artizar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eduardo Hurko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eduardo Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Lano in the 63rd minute of play. Guaberto Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as .C.A.Independiente.'s Enzo Lano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Hurko. That made the score 4-3 after 68 minutes of play. Guaberto Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Belarmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Guaberto Gitano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but .C.A.Independiente.'s Cornelio Belarmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesar Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cornelio Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Gitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Belarmo was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Guaberto Gitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Belarmo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Inocencio Bero hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Eduardo Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Berdaitz in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Placido Berdaitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduardo Hurko. Placido Berdaitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-4.
