An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Teyo in the 7th minute of play forced CLUB DEL FERNET's goalkeeper Adan Bordat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Football Club Argentino's zone, Jeronimo Leobardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Henric came out of the goal and Jeronimo Leobardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Higinio Fertus notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Football Club Argentino's Marcial Henric. Marcial Henric was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 played minutes, Football Club Argentino's Geronimo Cuarto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adan Bordat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Football Club Argentino reached it. Eleuterio Teyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Bordat having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Football Club Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Teyo. Marcial Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Leobardo in the 31st minute of the match. Marcial Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Jeronimo Leobardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Football Club Argentino's Marcial Henric was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of CLUB DEL FERNET booed when Football Club Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Ricart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Adan Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Teyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Adan Hug had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adan Bordat. CLUB DEL FERNET's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Hug was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

CLUB DEL FERNET's Adan Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Hug in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CLUB DEL FERNET's Santo Jobo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jeronimo Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marcial Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Adan Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot. Football Club Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Hug was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Bordat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Leobardo succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Higinio Fertus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Marcial Henric when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 78 played minutes, CLUB DEL FERNET's Emiliano Abilio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcial Henric came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CLUB DEL FERNET reached it. After 79 played minutes Football Club Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Iztal. Higinio Fertus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute of the match, Jeronimo Leobardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcial Henric saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Football Club Argentino getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nunez Iztal hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Football Club Argentino defense, Higinio Fertus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Henric. The Football Club Argentino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Henric should have stopped the shot. 97 minutes into the match, CLUB DEL FERNET's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Teyo came free, but Adan Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CLUB DEL FERNET walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
