An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Veronica in the 19th minute of play forced San Lorenzo AFC's goalkeeper Roman Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Benigno Abilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Gentza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Gentza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Benigno Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvio Ederono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Gentza having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Chumo made a kick off. San Lorenzo AFC's Roman Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Veronica in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Benigno Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Wamyc's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Abilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Gentza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Amadeo Soter notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of San Lorenzo AFC's Roman Gentza. Roman Gentza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benigno Abilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Gentza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. San Lorenzo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Veronica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. With a little luck, San Lorenzo AFC's Roman Gentza got control of the ball when Alfredo Veronica tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Club Atletico Wamyc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Lorenzo AFC.
